So it's been a while. I'm perfectly aware.
To whoever's reading this, thanks for sticking around! Content on this website has been particularly slow recently (even that's an understatement) and I appreciate anyone who's still checking back and has come across this.
While I've put a pause on writing content specifically for Queens of Country, there will be album reviews going up periodically on this page! I've begun working with a new web-based streaming service, VIBBIDI. They have this program called "Narratives," where users of the service can voice their opinion about any music they want! I've been writing some narratives for them, and I will subsequently be posting the relevant reviews on Queens of Country as well. I've been diving deep, going back to some albums that came out years ago as well as covering some new records, so expect a variety of reviews coming your way soon!
If you're interested in learning more about VIBBIDI, you can see their platform at vibbidi.net. They're still finalizing the web version of their platform, but it's a really cool idea! What I personally love about it is that you can "collect" videos from YouTube and play the audio from that through the platform. So if you want to listen to a live performance that's not on iTunes or a streaming service without watching the video, you can do it on this website/app!
There's also a vast amount of commentary on various albums available on the platform, which you can easily see when you search up a record. Think YouTube, Allmusic and MySpace squished into one. It's a really cool idea, and I've enjoyed working with them and using the service!
Besides that, I am hoping to get some additional content up on here in the next couple months. Thanks for sticking with me, and for sticking with the women of country!
