Women of country are continuously putting out fabulous music, even when you're not paying attention. Here are five amazing songs to listen to this month by five amazing women in country music.
KATIE STUMP — "MINNESOTA"
Katie Stump is back with another single from her EP, Feels Like Home, following her song "Treasure Map." She just released the video onto YouTube, and the simplistic beauty of the video perfectly matches this folk-influenced ballad.

EMMA PLACE — "THIS TIME"
Place continues the acoustic-based songs about love, and has another offering which adds a more mature tone to her music. "This Time" is a song that accepts that a relationship is over, and is more a song about closure than heartbreak
EMMA WHITE — "I DON'T KNOW"
Singer/songwriter Emma White has her own blend of country, pop, and R&B, but always with an acoustic, folky base. This song sets itself apart from the rest of White's tracks because it is so raw, and so honest. Definitely worth a listen.
ANIELLE REID — "LOVE SONG"
On her EP released last year, Reid proved that she is a master of creating pop friendly country/Americana music with a heavy banjo part. "Love Song" is a short, but sweet track that does what it intends to do: show off Reid's vocals, and convey her message that she doesn't like singing love songs, but she is with this song.
JORDYN SHELLHART — "MINE UNTIL THE MORNING"
Released a couple years ago, but this continues to be one of the best songs on SoundCloud. Written by Shellhart, Brandy Clark, and Shane McAnally, this song is a heartbreaking track, with the emotion seeping through Shellhart's vocals.
