Singer/songwriters Lindsay Ell and Caitlyn Smith are very different artists, and have very different voices. But on The Bobby Bones Show for the St. Jude Radiothon, these two artists paired up for an unlikely, but incredible duet.
Ell plays lead guitar, and Smith starts off the video with the lead vocal part, with Ell coming in on background vocals at the chorus. Ell then takes on the first verse and the second chorus, and launches into an acoustic guitar solo at the bridge.
Each artist was able to showcase their unique skills, with Smith's incredible belt the highlight at the end, and Ell's guitar skills the highlight at the bridge. Having two such incredible rising stars coming together creates a new sort of collaborative image of Nashville, and Bobby Bones is at the forefront of it. Whatever you may think about him, he does have an ear for incredible artists, and provides lots of opportunities for them. You can thank Bobby for Cam blowing up, and the recent recognition of Smith and Bailey Bryan. He really has been a champion for women in country music, and it's important to recognize that.
