But perhaps the most interesting part of this song is the little rap breakdown after the chorus. It goes "Let me break it down to the facts / You will never get a girl like that / You gotta step up to the plate with a bat / That's all I gotta say about that." This slightly rapped or spoken delivery has been used by Kelsea Ballerini most recently, on her newest single "Dibs." But lyrically, this is probably the worst part of the song. However, it's an earworm, and is very easily stuck in the brain!
The whole song has been very controversial among fans, which Bradbery cleverly calls her "BradBaes." Many expressed concern on how this track doesn't truly show her ability like other new songs she has performed recently like "Mama Was A Liar" and "Room For Two" would have. Others worried that Bradbery was going too much in the pop direction and that country radio would not play it. But the overall consensus is that this is an absolutely addicting song, one that will be on replay for the next few months until more new music, most likely better and heavier tracks, comes to them soon.
